Good evening. Was the name of the mill derived from the name of the family that lived there .I know it was a cider related mill at one time .I’m visiting the area this weekend 10th Oct to the 13th Oct I’d be interesting to know Many Thanks John Gimblett.South Wales .
Hi John, Sorry I’m a bit late in replying and would have missed your visit. As far as I know, the mill was named after a family that lived there. I am myself descended from the Gimbletts that lived a little further to the North/West at Kyrse, Treneglos.
